This Single Vineyard Special Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon from the Admon vineyard was produced in a limited quantity and was launched as a tribute to the very first single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon in Israel, which was released by the Carmel Winery in 1976. The wine was produced from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the Admon vineyard in the Upper Galilee, 770 meters above sea level. Aged for 15 months in French oak barrels Tasting notes: The wine displays a deep purple hue. Aromas of red fruit, a little black pepper, and tobacco. Delicate seasoning (cloves and cinnamon), full body. Rich fruit flavours and prominent long and balanced finish CARMEL SIGNATURE Carmel Winery’s highest wine category. Wines under this category are produced from grapes selected with strict precision, from Carmel’s top vineyards. Nurtured with meticulous care and attention, the wines produced from these grapes are elegant and harmonious, expressing the unique terroir in which they are grown.
