Gush Etzion Spring River Red Blend

The Spring River series features the Winery’s blends. It is named after the area of Nachal Hapirim (“Stream of shafts”). The vines used to produce the red wine in this series grow on the slopes that descend to this stream. Varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. Matured over 12 months in a French oak barrel. Characteristics: Bold red color, with a powerful and rich nose of ripe fruit and a sophisticated bouquet that expresses tobacco and chocolate. Full-bodied, the tannins are firm and round and the finish is long and spicy.
